Still in Buffalo
Edward, David and Benjamin had fourteen children between them, and their obituaries count twenty-nine grandchildren. Anne had two more children, Mary Louise and Michael.
Medicine stayed in the family. David's son Dr. Dennis Michael Weppner followed his father into medicine and, like his uncle Edward, chose obstetrics and gynecology. He earned his medical degree in 1986, trained through the State University of New York's residency consortium, and has spent decades delivering babies and caring for women at Buffalo General Medical Center and Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. He also earned an MBA through UB's Executive MBA program. He and his wife Kathleen raised five children: Sean, Dennis, Meaghan, Patrick and Timothy. Nearly two hundred years after Augustus arrived, they are the seventh generation. This history, compiled by Sean, is dedicated to their father.
