Their story
Known as Nina. She was christened at St. Louis Church on 16 January 1870, with Louisa Davis and Gerhard Lang, the husband of her cousin Barbara Born, as godparents. She married Godfrey M. Frohe, and they had two daughters, Katherine (1898–1976) and Helen, born in 1903; in 1920 the family lived in Buffalo's 23rd ward. Her mother's 1915 obituary lists her as Mrs. Godfrey M. Frohe. She lived to ninety-nine and died in West Palm Beach, Florida, in November 1969.
