Their story
The eldest child of Edward A. Weppner, the banker, and Delia E. Kraus, whose maiden name became his middle name. He began school at St. Louis school, graduated from Lafayette High School, spent two years at Williams College and graduated from Cornell University in 1914. Two years later he completed the course at the University of Buffalo Law School. In 1920 he married Mary Louise Herger, who was born in Buffalo the same year he was, and in 1931 he was with the New York & Buffalo Auditing Company. They had five children between 1923 and 1933.
