Their story
Augustus's older sister, born at Westhofen on 25 February 1765. She married Johann Philipp Born there on 8 February 1791, and they had at least nine children. Two of them tied the Borns to the Weppners again in Buffalo. Her son Philip Born ran a brewery there and in 1840 married his first cousin Anna Maria, Augustus's eldest daughter. Her daughter Sabina married a Lambert, and Sabina's daughter Emma Lambert married Augustus's son Jacob in 1848. Eva Magdalena stayed in Westhofen and died there on 18 June 1831, three years before her brother's family sailed for America.
