Their story
Son of August F. Weppner and Josephine P. Gebhard. After Lafayette High School he worked for the American Railway Express Company while he studied law, entering the University of Buffalo Law School in 1923 and graduating on 8 June 1926. He was admitted to the bar in 1927, and on 1 January 1930 he became a partner of Adrian Block in Block & Weppner, with offices in the Liberty Bank Building, the same bank his uncle Edward had served. He married Iva Eloise Abbott of East Aurora on 29 September 1928, and in 1931 they lived on Westgate Road in Kenmore with their two small daughters, Joanne Mary and Mary Lou. He belonged to the Erie County Bar Association and St. Paul's Church in Kenmore. WikiTree records that he died in the 1930s, still a young man, and his brother Oliver's 1964 obituary counts him among his late brothers. Iva lived until 1994.
Some family trees list him as a son of Charles A. Weppner, but his 1931 biography names August F. and Josephine P. (Gebhard) Weppner as his parents.
