Their story
August F. Weppner's younger son by his first wife, Carolina Becker. The 1900 city directory lists a Robert A. Weppner, butcher, very likely him. He moved to Cleveland, where his children were born: Richard Augustus (born 1904), Robert Arthur II (1907–1994), Michael Albert (1909–1994), Beatrice Nadine (1912–1998) and the twins Eleanor Albert and Hilda Albert, born in 1916. His half-brother Oliver's 1964 obituary calls him “the late Robert A. Weppner of Lakewood, O.”
